Rickenbacker Model 730 Laramie

in Shaded Fireglo

2008

This Dreadnought bodied guitar with maple back and sides and Sitka spruce top is known as the 'Laramie' model in Rickenbacker parlance. This was one of approximately 30 acoustic guitars constructed by luthier Paul Wilczynski under license from RIC, using acoustic tone woods often supplied by RIC with RIC-branded internal bracing. Modeled after the factory constructed models, this guitar features checkered body binding and sound hole, full width fretboard inlays and a unique pickguard not found on factory-issued guitars. Note also the flamed maple tiger-stripe back, the checkered headstock binding, the custom truss rod cover, gold with silver logo, which resembles those used on Rickenbacker's 75th anniversary (2006) models. Fitted with onboard Fishman electronics. Original RIC-branded case.
