The second attempt by Rickenbacker to reissue models used by the Beatles was the "V" series; this first-year example is modeled after John Lennon's 1958 model 325 as he modified it by the addition of a Bigsby vibrato unit and the refinish of his 1958 325 in Jetglo/Black.
