Rickenbacker Export Model 365S / 3262

in Fireglo

1967

This unusual guitar was one of several exported to Italy as a 360-12 string with an “F” soundhole, intended to be designated in the Rose Morris catalog as model 3262. As was the case with this example, some were converted to 6-string guitars by the addition of molded black plastic inserts that covered the octave channels and tuner holes in the top and sides of the headstock, with the addition of a 6-string nut, bridge and Ac’cent tailpiece. Details of the background of this model are recounted on pp. 200-201 in the Kelly Rickenbacker Book (2023). All original with silver HSC.
