This product of the Martin Custom Shop is intended to recreate the look and sound of the model D-18 cannon of the 'Golden Era' of Martin guitar-building, widely regarded as the pre-WWII era. Made without a pickguard to increase the resonance of the Sitka spruce top and mahogany body, this guitar nails that 'cannon' sound of the pre-War Martin D-18. Note the Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer and the open-back Waverly tuners. OHSC
