Carl Wilson Model 360-12CW

in Fireglo

2000

Carl Wilson, lead guitarist of the Beach Boys, was known to play various models of Rickenbacker 12-strings soon after they became available in 1964. Rickenbacker created the artist signature models 360/12CW and 360CW having a '60s rounded body with a thin top, making it more resonant. Of the 500 units issued, 250 were issued in each of 12- and 6-string configurations. Most were finished in Fireglo but some in Jetglo. All were equipped with toaster top pickups and full width pearloid fretboard markers. Many examples, such as this one, sported highly figured maple tops and backs. With original case and COA.
