Airline by Harmony Roy Smeck Stratotone

in Sunburst

1963

The Roy Smeck 7208 double-bound hollowbody is distinguished by multi-pointed cream colored “star” pickguard surrounding the three DeArmond pickups; wooden bridge; block fretboard markers. Six tone/volume controls mounted directly on guitar body with 3-way selector switch. Black and white original soft shell case. Note: The Roy Smeck 7208 model was a short-lived Harmony instrument and sold through their mail order catalogs by Montgomery Ward. Surely one of the coolest electric guitars ever produced with its flawless design and white lightning bolt pickguard. A fully original guitar with a comfortable neck.
